Embarking on a journey through the TIIDELab Pre-Fellowship Course was like discovering a hidden treasure chest overflowing with endless possibilities for my programming aspirations. In just six weeks, this transformative experience not only nurtured my consistency and programming prowess but also instilled in me an insatiable hunger for knowledge as I have been struggling with consistency over the years and doubting my potential.

The impact of the TIIDELab Pre-Fellowship Course extends far beyond technical skills. It has woven a tapestry of camaraderie among participants, uniting us in a supportive community of like-minded individuals. The friendships forged and the collaboration experienced throughout the course has become an invaluable network of support, encouragement, and inspiration. Allow me to take you on an exhilarating ride through my odyssey, as I express my deepest gratitude to the entire management of TIIDELab and the extraordinary Mr. Shamsudeen Aderoju who we often refer to as Mr. Shams, the program coordinator, who mentors us for his unparalleled selflessness and unwavering mentorship.

Week 1: A Grand Voyage Begins

The voyage commenced on 4th April 2023 with a breathtaking welcome from the TIIDELab team, led by the indefatigable Mr. Shamsudeen Aderoju. Week one immersed us in the enchanting realm of programming fundamentals which consists of HTML Basics. Engaging in lectures and personal development classes, CCAT TEST whisked us away on an adventure through diverse programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and the art of creative problem-solving. Mr. Aderoju's boundless enthusiasm for teaching cast a spell on us, igniting a fiery passion for exploration and learning.

Week 2-4: Unleashing the Adventurer Within

As the weeks unfurled like a captivating tale, we found ourselves facing increasingly thrilling challenges. We embarked on a daring expedition into the heart of basic topics such as HTML, CSS, Microsoft Excel, and MySQL which range from web development to database management and the different aspects one can leverage in the Tech world. In the enchanting realm of the TIIDELab Pre-Fellowship Course, the third week marked a significant milestone in my adventure. It was during this transformative period that I found myself fortunate enough to be among the first top five candidates for the week during this extraordinary program.

The realization that I was part of the top five people ignited a surge of excitement, motivation, and a deep sense of responsibility to make the most of this exceptional opportunity. As the third week progressed, we were organized into groups and I was privileged to be part of Team One with the name TEAM TECHATON.

Forging ahead the course demanded unwavering dedication, with coding sessions stretching into the depths of the night, and collaboration with our fellow intrepid explorers. It was during this phase that Mr. Aderoju's remarkable mentorship shone through. His patient guidance and hands-on approach transformed complex concepts into exhilarating quests, fueling our resilience and fortitude.

Week 5: Conquering Real-World Frontiers

In the fifth week, our voyage entered uncharted territories as we began learning JavaScript which was explicit and well tutored by Mr. Ayodele Adebayo who is fondly called Unclebigbay and also Miss. Cynthia Nwakwo's guidance helped us as we were entrusted with real-world projects. The thrill of applying our newfound knowledge and skills to create practical solutions was unparalleled.

Teaming up with fellow adventurers, we embarked on a daring quest to develop a web application that would tackle a pressing issue in our community. This challenging expedition tested our critical thinking, teamwork, and the very essence of what we had learned. Under Mr. Aderoju's watchful eye, his unwavering guidance and invaluable feedback steered us toward triumph, evoking an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and pride.

Week 6: Reflection

As our voyage drew to a close, the final week became a momentous chapter of reflection, and heartfelt gratitude. We presented our daring creations to a distinguished panel of industry experts, who bestowed upon us their sage counsel. The elation and self-assurance that washed over us affirmed our decision to pursue programming as a career. In a poignant farewell ceremony, we expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Aderoju. We stood united, awestruck by his unwavering support, selfless dedication, and the profound impact he had on our journeys.

The TIIDELab Pre-Fellowship Course stands as an epic transformational odyssey that unshackled my untapped potential as a programmer. It's with great excitement that I am opportune to be part of the Pre-fellows who will be graduating today, 19th May 2023. While I looked forward to be part of the main fellowship, it can only get better from here on.
